Start Early, Tackle the Hard Tasks, and Win

Waking up at 3:00 AM to start the day. It's a great way to boost productivity. Time is fleeting; every minute you don't spend on your most pressing tasks weighs on your mind. You know you need to get it done, but waking up later than intended has now triggered anxiety. Time you can't get back has now slipped out of your grasp. Work begins to pile up, and you may find yourself rushing, unable to do your best work because you're up against the clock. I recommend setting that alarm clock for 3:00 AM, jumping out of bed, and tackling the hardest tasks first. Then, you can be happy and relaxed for the rest of the day. Some of our work simply shouldn't take so long to complete. Respect the time required to knock out your most pressing tasks, and you will be rewarded.

Finding Clarity and Purpose in the Stillness of 3am

Trust what you know you have to do. What does that sentence mean to me? It means that you know, without a doubt, what you must do in order to fulfill the request of your heart. It means that you do not take into consideration what anybody else has to say about your endeavor because your heart has already told you. You must not look to other people but to yourself. That’s why I said you have to trust what you know… and not somebody else. Nobody knows what you want more than you do. That’s why with the 3 AM blog, it is important that we learn how to sit in silence with ourselves. To be alone with ourselves to hear ourselves tell us instructions that we must follow without entertaining any doubt. You must learn how to trust yourself completely and focus on your ambitious goals. This one life that we are living is made up of scenes just like a movie being played out, and you are the scriptwriter, the director, and the actor in your own creation of your life. Take further responsibility for the outcome of every day going forward. That’s why it’s so important that we wake up at 3 AM with a purpose to direct ourselves and give firm instructions of the activities that must take place and the time frame in which they must be completed. I pray that I am saying something that may help you think about how to navigate your life every day by taking full, unmitigated responsibility for every second of it. Again, that’s why I’m an advocate of sitting in silence at 3 AM while the Earth is still, so that we can think and find our way in this world to create the life that we want.

The Cost of Dishonesty in Business and Life

In business and life, you can’t be afraid of losing friendships based on the truth. You can get off whatever merry-go-round you are on right now when you decide to face the truth and then speak the truth. Suffering when you don’t have to is insane. You can’t be fearful of being honest. Honesty is the key that unlocks all the doors that have been closed to you. We suffer because we won’t be honest, and as long as you keep being dishonest about how you really feel, you will remain a prisoner of your current circumstances. Is it your ego that is keeping you in bondage? Can you be honest with yourself when answering this yes or no question? Aimless pursuits are intense and regrettable offenses against yourself. You can’t blame anyone else for this kind of lack of courage. You will have no one to blame but yourself. Sure, there’s a chance you may no longer be friends with people you have known for a very long time because you decided to be honest and truthful. But always remember that whatever the truth produces is always good. Telling the truth is never the wrong decision. Don’t be fearful about the outcome that comes with truth-telling. The truth is undefeated!

"The Quiet Hour: Using 3 AM to Master Your Day"

It's important to make silence a part of your day. This is why I advocate the 3 AM rule. I want you to make the 3am Rule your new superpower. Just to be clear, you can create your own rule. You might say, "I’m going to create the 4 AM rule or the 5 AM rule." It's the silence and stillness of the early morning that I value. That time is when you are alone with yourself, without distraction. I don’t know of any other time of the day when you are completely alone—no phone calls, texts, or emails are coming in between 3 AM and 6 AM. I want my readers to know that you can add more valuable creative time for yourself by sitting at your desk with a stack of white paper, your favorite pens and highlighters, and creating a road map for the day beginning at 3 AM. You can write out what you want your life to look like. You can write out your future and what you want to see, where you want to go. You can sit there, close your eyes, visualize, and then write it down. Use waking up at 3 AM as your new superpower to conquer your most ambitious goals. Remember, ambitious goals require more time.

How To Eliminate Being a Fake Person

In our everyday interaction with other human beings, we must eliminate the fake persona that most of us are comfortable displaying. Being fake is the lazy way to express yourself. It’s a very cheap version of who you really are. You will never have an electrical connection with others because your words are dull and listless. They carry no weight that would make a person ponder over what you have said. Here's a thought on how to eliminate the fake: 1. Be willing to take a hit being yourself. When you speak, you are the mouthpiece of yourself. 2. Be willing to be rejected for being the real you. 3. Know that you were not meant to get along with everyone. It's impossible. Stop trying. 4. The constant pressure of putting on a front is exhausting. 5. When you speak, own everything you say. Own every word and speak with clarity so no one has to ask you, "What do you mean?" The majority of the people on our planet like being fake. I heard someone say that the day you are liked by everyone is the day you are the most fake person alive.
