"The 3 AM Rule: Discover the Superpower of Stillness, Creativity, and Productivity"

Get up early and organize the thoughts you have been carrying around in your mind. Take time out to be alone with yourself and listen to what your mind is telling you. Stop rushing every morning and appreciate the stillness and silence before the sun rises. It is a gift that most people never consider experiencing. What could I be doing right now? I could be writing and meditating on the things that will produce victory for me today. I could be working on my website, blog, or social media posts. I could be completing a work assignment due on Friday by Wednesday. I could complete my work early and then use the free time I have for my creative process, and nobody would know I was using the 3 AM Rule. I call it the superpower that most people will never consider using. There are some of us that will never see the value of waking up at 3 AM to begin their day. We have been trained in society to not even give that time a consideration. For people who are ambitious, this blog may be the confirmation you need to do what was in your gut the whole time. Just because most of the people you know wouldn’t do it, that has nothing to do with you. I absolutely feel alive and inspired at 3 AM. Embrace this time to think, write, read, plan, and execute your highest skill sets. Shoot your big guns from your arsenal today. Surrender to your intuition; it will never betray you!

How The 3 AM Rule Can Change Everything in Your Daily WorkFlow

Your daily activity is your ambition. In the book “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy, it says, “Your life is a product of your moment-to-moment choices. Change your life by changing your choices.” This is why the 3 AM rule works for me. I want to take 100% responsibility for everything. The one thing we can’t get back is time. I have found that waking up earlier to chip away at the heavy lifting of your daily grind makes you extremely productive. Look at how much you can get done between 3 AM and 7 AM. That’s 4 hours of uninterrupted work flow. Again, I don’t want you to think I use the 3 AM rule five days a week, because I don’t. Over the years, as a morning radio talent, I have developed an appreciation for waking up early. First of all, just to wake up, period, I am grateful. I say to the Creator, thank you for another opportunity to be alive. I am so grateful I weep some days. Just a quick backstory of why I am so grateful is that both my parents and my younger brother all passed away years ago, so I’m here alone without the people I grew up with. I thank God for sparing my life, so I have a healthy respect for time. Waking up at 3 AM is not an issue. No one knows the day they will no longer be here, but we do have right now. It is important that we respect time. Give life your best effort, and it will reward you. Get up and challenge yourself. You have a life. Use your precious time to manifest what is in your imagination about yourself. Welcome again to the 3 AM rule!

The Process of Autophagy while Fasting: The Real Way to Cleanse Your Body

We need to turn our bodies into a furnace to burn off the crud in our blood vesels so we can remove the encumburance in our bodies. I definitely used fasting to remove the veil of the falsity of this world. We must fast to live. There is too much poison in the foods we are eating. I am going to share my intimate thoughts on fast with you. Read this article article on Autophagy.... https://greatist.com/live/autophagy-fasting-exercise Fasting is apart of the 3am Rule. I'll explain to you what I means soon.

Fasting and the Brain

Fasting can have various effects on the brain, with the impact depending on the duration and type of fasting. Here are some ways in which fasting may influence and potentially benefit the brain: 1. Increased Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF): Fasting has been shown to elevate the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). BDNF is a protein that supports the growth, maintenance, and survival of neurons. Higher levels of BDNF are linked to improved cognitive function and enhanced neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to adapt and form new connections. 2. Enhanced Autophagy: Autophagy is a cellular process that involves the removal of damaged or dysfunctional components. Fasting triggers autophagy, which helps clear out cellular debris and potentially protects neurons from degeneration. 3. Improved Insulin Sensitivity: Fasting can improve insulin sensitivity, which is crucial for overall metabolic health. This is particularly relevant to the brain, as insulin plays a role in regulating glucose uptake, a primary energy source for the brain. Enhanced insulin sensitivity may contribute to better brain function. 4. Ketone Production: During fasting, the body depletes its glycogen stores and begins to break down fat for energy, producing ketones as a byproduct. Ketones can serve as an alternative energy source for the brain, with some research suggesting they may have neuroprotective effects. 5. Reduction of Inflammation: Chronic inflammation is associated with various health problems, including neurodegenerative diseases. Fasting may help reduce inflammation, positively impacting brain health. 6. Enhanced Brain Health: Some studies suggest that intermittent fasting or periodic fasting regimens may promote overall brain health, potentially reducing the risk of age-related cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases. 7. Weight Loss: Fasting can lead to weight loss as the body utilizes stored glycogen and fat for energy in the absence of food intake. 8. Cellular Repair: Fasting may induce a state of mild stress on cells, triggering repair processes and improving overall cellular health. 9. Metabolic Benefits: Some studies indicate that intermittent fasting may have metabolic benefits, such as reducing inflammation and improving lipid profiles. By incorporating fasting into one's lifestyle, it may be possible to harness these potential brain health benefits. However, it is essential to approach fasting with proper guidance and consider individual health conditions and needs. ---

Embrace the 3AM Rule and Command your Day

The 3am rule is in effect this morning. It's 3:05am as I am writing this entry. Last night I started reading this book that was recommended to me by a friend called "The Power of Decision" by Raymond Barker. I started skimming through the book until I ran across a couple of things that interested me. Page 106 stood out to me regarding his definition of prosperity. Most people equate prosperity with money, but I like the fact that he believes, like I do, that having the ability to do what you want to do the instant that you want to do it is prosperity. Living a full life on your own terms. Having the ability to be free at all times is priceless. Never give up your freedom. You have to make a decision to do that. You have to be willing to go without sometimes. Sacrifice for a while to get your freedom. The power of the 3am rule is to control more of your time in ways the average thinker would never consider. Get up and read and write. Do research and plan out how you are gonna execute your ideas. Form a new routine. Move away from average thinking. Empower yourself by your use of time. I got in bed at 7pm last night after I ate dinner. I decided that I was going to start going to bed early, even if I don't fall asleep right away. Dick Gregory said we die early from a lack of sleep and dehydration so I decided to make this a new practice. I drink two large cups of coffee a day, so I need to drink plenty of water because coffee definitely dehydrates the body. I am reigniting my walking regimen this week too. I am glad you are reading my thoughts about the 3am rule. I am happy when I am in control of my time. When you get up at 3am, you are not at a deficit. You are in the driver's seat. You can get in front of everything on your agenda. You can knock out a work project in the next three hours from 3am-6am and have more time for creativity. More time to think and be alone with yourself. While everyone else is in rush mode, you can cruise. Your work is done. The heavy lifting is done. Use the 3am rule to knock out your most pressing issue of the day so you can get it off your plate. The more you practice the 3am rule, the more you will be able to determine with clarity the outcome of your work. Remember, how you use the 3am rule is creatively your call. Once a week, two or three times a week, or every day. It's your call, but use it to your advantage and you will advance in your productivity chain. Ambitious people need the 3am rule! What is the 3 AM Rule about? Part 1

A Brief Explanation of How I Use the 3 AM Rule I used this as an experiment back in the early 2000s when I was doing morning radio in Charlotte, NC. I have always been an early riser, with my normal report time being 4:30 am, so I said to myself, "Why not be the first morning man in the city to be at the radio station every morning?" If I recall, I was actually at work at 3 am, so that means I was up way earlier than that. I would get my coffee at Denny's on the way in, continue my trip to South Blvd, and look over at the skyline and say, "This is my city." It really gave me a sense of pride being there and making sure the show was going to be successful that morning. Does the 3 AM rule have to be used every day? Yes, And why not? If I wanted to, why not? But you don't have to. I just want to encourage people to wake up earlier and create an unfair advantage every day. While your competitor is at home sleeping, you are up and working, and it will pay off. This blog is about the inspiration and self-development that will take place using the 3 AM rule every day if you like, or on specific days you choose. I want to share with you how I have used this time of beginning my work at 3 AM to my advantage in my career.

Intermittent fasting may supercharge ‘natural killer’ cells to destroy cancer

NEW YORK — Could skipping a few meals each week help you fight cancer? It might sound far-fetched, but new research suggests that one type of intermittent fasting could actually boost your body’s natural ability to defeat cancer. A team of scientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) has uncovered an intriguing link between fasting and the body’s immune system. Their study, published in the journal Immunity, focuses on a particular type of immune cell called natural killer (NK) cells. These cells are like the special forces of your immune system, capable of taking out cancer cells and virus-infected cells without needing prior exposure.
